About Superior Recruitment — The name says it all
Recruitment shouldn’t be about databases. It should be about relationships.
Running a superficial search on a wide — but not very deep — database of candidates is not how you find someone who was made for the job!
Really. What’s the point of shortlisting candidates based on who ticked a few meaningless boxes?… ‘Male’ — Tick. ‘Sales Rep’ — Tick. ‘3-10 years’ experience’ — Tick. ‘Will tick all boxes just to get an interview’ — Tick! It’s meaningless. You may as well ask that robot — Dexter — from 1980s TV-classic, Perfect Match.4
At Superior Recruitment, we do things differently. (Have been, since 2007.) We’re not Dexter. We’re not even Greg Evans (although those suits and that blow-wave were something to behold). We’re more like Andrew Denton — you know, from Enough Rope — or everyone’s favourite, Michael Parkinson: Friendly, unassuming, yet still able to ask the right questions to really find out what makes our candidates tick.
That’s a bit of a simplification, of course. We don’t just interview our candidates, then forget about them until a possible job comes up. We stay in touch, so they remember us, trust us, and look to us for career opportunities. And so we can stay completely up to date with what’s happening in their world.
In fact, we have dedicated Candidate Resourcing Centres in 3 Australian sites, set up for exactly that purpose. We call all our candidates once a month, or so, and just have a chat. That way, we’re not relying on them updating their CV and sending it to us. (In fact, we’re not relying on their CV at all.)
Can you imagine Dexter doing that?
And, of course, our Recruitment Specialists are actually recruitment specialists. They’ve all been doing it for years (the average is 4 years), and we selected them using the very same methods we use to help you fill your roles.
If you’d like to find out more about how Superior Recruitment is different and — more importantly — how that difference will help you find someone who was made for the job, give us a call on 1300 445 920.
